Now, before you think I’m implying you put your friends and family to work in your business, I’m not. Not only will you alienate your friends, your family might resent you. Instead, what I mean by free labor, is that when you have a website built, the best way to see what people think without putting your business out to the world is to ask them to have a look through it first. They can look at the style, the writing, and grammar, and give you quick feedback that’ll let you know if you’re achieving the desired results with your website.
When it comes to grammar, I don’t need to go into great detail about what is and isn’t good for a business with an online presence. Granted, if you get us to make your site, chances are very remote that there’ll be errors, we like to triple check our work for any inconsistencies. However, I’ll admit it, we are still human, and everyone makes mistakes.
Sometime's it pays to proof read or at least do a quick 'Google Translate'
Style is something that is very subjective. While you might love a design, your friends might hate it. Everyone has an opinion, and you’ll never appease everyone. However, if you want to get a general sense of vibe for your site, ask a few friends and family for their opinions, and just like any other review process, if it is mostly positive, you’re on the right path.
Whilst many of these things can be done alone, it never hurts to ask for second, third, and even a fourth opinion. We will work with any concerns you have to insure that you end up with a site that you are proud to call your own.
